This season, BORDELLE unites these elements to bring you a selection of lingerie and bodywear styles that transcend the traditional boundaries of womenswear.
The concept of Bordelle as the fifth element has been inspired by the cinematography of the cult classic ‘The Fifth Element’, and is set against the backdrop of otherworldly terrain.
Tierra, from the Latin for ‘Earth’, showcases a contemporary embroidery design incorporating elemental symbols, finished on a recycled tulle base.
Black is detailed with bronze lurex threads and represents the Earth, monochromatic Morello illustrates the seduction of Fire, and Denim Blue represents Air and Water, with innovative glow-in-the-dark yarns adding to the futuristic theme.
Delicate scalloped embroidery and narrow strapping is contrasted with oversized 24k gold plated ‘O’ rings and harness detailing for a modern capsule of key lingerie shapes.
